US stocks close down amid geopolitical and summer low trade
FXStreet (San Francisco) - Wall Street closed down on Tuesday as investors remain concerned about Ukraine conflict and the lack of resolution. In addition, low volume trading added pressure to the bulls.
The Dow Jones declined 9.44 points or 0.06% to finish the day at 16,560.54; the S&P 500 eased 3.17 pts or 0.16% to close at 1,933.75; while the Nasdaq Composite lost 12.08 pts or 0.27% to 4,389.25.
